The Holistic Living Expo was
started by Dr. Karen McGlynn in 2004. Despite the difficulties of
getting an expo off the ground, Karen put together a successful event
right from the start. In 2005, Marilyn
Bullock
helped
Karen
run the expo. In 2006 Karen and Marilyn decided
to
reactivate
Resources
for Wellness, a holistic networking group. In 2007 Resources for Wellness
became the host for the 2007 expo, with many of the participants volunteering
their time to make the event a success.
Resources for Wellness is
a group of holistic practitioners in the Bucks County, PA area who
are interested
in connecting
with like-minded colleagues. Practitioners meet the second Tuesday
of each month to network, exchange ideas, educate each other about
holistic modalities, and just hang out.
The group was originally started by Marilyn
Bullock, a web designer with a strong interest in alternative and
complementary healing modalities.
Meeting locations rotate among member
business locations. The meeting is open to anyone interested in a
holistic appoach to his/her business.
